Pueblito Beach, a jewel of Puerto Plata!

Pueblito Beach Puerto Plata is a hidden gem in the north of the Dominican Republic in Puerto Plata, still unexplored by many who only recognize its cute name (little town) but have yet to venture into its beautiful scenery and characteristic amenities.

Pueblito Beach stands proudly among the Playa Dorada and Costa Dorada beach resorts, considered the best on the north coast of the DR in terms of all-inclusive resort areas.

The beach in Pueblito is Chaparral, although most will find it difficult to use that name. Its neighbors show off its magnificent landscape features such as the Blue Jack Tar surrounded by the Playa Dorada golf course to the East, and the Iberostar Costa Dorada to the West.

The small town has a variety of condominium buildings available for rent or sale, it also has several restaurants, a block of very nice gift shops, and plenty of seating areas on the stretch of golden sand beach. Places like Le Petit Francois offer a great menu of seafood and other international dishes, including hosting events.

The Sabor Del Atlántico bar and restaurant, and the Coco Bar are also highly recommended. These are next to the beach, while the one inside the town of Pueblito is Fefa`s Bar & Restaurant, amazing seafood. We tried a few drinks with mixers and the experience was satisfactory, perhaps because the weather was very good and the right number of visitors created a relaxing atmosphere.

The staff in the restaurants are very friendly, and there is an informal vendor who sells the usual things that people buy on the beach. Pueblito is part of a long stretch of beach that stretches from the Malecón Long Beach, Costa Dorada, Playa Dorada, Bergantín and Playa Cangrejo.
